Lomonosov Simulations by Pilipenko et al. (2017)
The Lomonosov simulation project is aimed at measuring the halo concentration parameter, which characterises the density inside dark matter halos, for halos with masses below 1e10 Msun, hardly accessible by typical large-volume simulations. The Lomonosov suite consists of four dark matter simulation runs done at the Lomonosov supercomputer of the Moscow State University computer center. One simulation is a full box and the other three are zoom simulations of overdense, typical and underdense regions. The characteristics of each of these simulations are summarised in the table below.
